We will start this year with a moral dilemma! The first weeks we are going to work with different moral dilemmas. Do you remember what a moral dilemma is? I know that you have been talking about it during Anna's religion lessons.
(Moral has to do with your actions and the principles of right and wrong behavior and the goodness or badness of human character.)

You could say that the man in the film sold his soul for money and some people would say that money is the root of all evil.
What do you think it means?
1. First of all write down your own thoughts about the expressions and try to figure out what they mean. Do you agree or disagree? Did the man sell his soul? What would you have done in the same situation?
2. Then turn to your neighbour and find out his/her thoughts. Help each other, write down your thoughts and give examples. Both of you have to be able to talk about what you have agreed upon.

3. We will discuss your thoughts about the film in class. Remember to speak English all the time!
