Listening comprehension

On Tuesday are we going to have a listening comprehension.
After that are you going to continue reading chapter 9, 10 and 11 of The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian.

When the lesson starts on Thursday you need to have read chapter 11.
On Thursday we are going to meet a guest speaker, who will talk about the Cherokee Indians.

Grammatik - oregelbundna verb

Vissa saker i engelskan måste man plugga in. Man kan inte tänka ut hur oregelbunda verb ska böjas utan det är bara att kavla upp ärmarna och sätta igång och plugga in dem.

Till varje torsdag under ett par veckor framöver kommer vi ha oregelbundna verb i läxa.
Ni ska kunna uttala, stava och veta vad de betyder. Det viktigaste är sedan att ni kan använda dem i tal och skrift. Att bara kunna rabbla verb är inget som bedöms.

Läxa till torsdag 19/1:

Att kunna verben be - do.

Träna gärna genom att sätta in orden i olika meningar.
