Before we start watching we need to take a look at the picture below. You will also get a paper copy in class. 

You will learn the concepts: 

Ethos is a speaker’s ability to build credibility, establish himself/herself as an expert, and/or convince the audience members that the speaker has their best interests at heart. 

Pathos is an appeal to emotions in order to sway an audience.

Logos:  is the use of data/evidence to prove one’s case.

While watching answer the questions in the picture and also think about what we learned from the first film about HAIL.
